Dwight Yoakam – July 9 @ White Water on the Horseshoe

Please join us in welcoming the Kentucky native, country legend Dwight Yoakam, to the Lone Star State. This Thursday, Yoakam is bringing his uniquely rugged blend of twang and rock to the famed stage of White Water on the Horseshoe. When he began his career in the mid-80’s, Dwight Yoakam embarked on a journey to create a new genre that incorporated maverick strides in the realm of rock with thick country roots in influences such as Merle Haggard. Only a musician of truly vast appeal would be demanded by the crowds at both country music festival Stagecoach and indie rock fest Coachella. Not to mention his recent headlining of the CMA Festival in Nashville.

Now, after having sold over 25 million records worldwide, including numerous gold and platinum/multi-platinum albums that have climbed Billboard’s Country Album charts time and again, we find Dwight Yoakam mid-tour, deep in the heart of Texas. Joining him on the stage are Two Tons of Steel, Modern Day Drifters, and David Fenley. This show is not to be missed. After all, there is no better remedy for a Fourth of July hangover than a day of floatin’ the Guadalupe and a night of classic country music under the stars of New Braunfels.

Tickets for this show are on sale now through whitewaterrocks.com and frontgatetickets.com. Do512 will be giving away two pairs of tickets for this one. To qualify, all you have to do is click “I Like It!” on the event listing.
