Smirnoff Vodka has a big party in the works folks, to be held this Saturday Dec. 5  from 6-10pm at a non-disclosed location. Details at this time are hazy, but it promises to be a big throw down with some great talent, visual and performance artists, & an interactive art piece made from people dancing on canvas with their feet dipped in paint. And there’s only one way to get on the Guestlist—by becoming a fan of Smirnoff on Facebook. Then sit back and stay tuned for details to follow.

Austin, TX… Are you ready?  Austin, TX will host the next Smirnoff Be There event.  The theme for the event is the “Art Sole” party.  Art Sole provides a unique live art installation and live music event for the party-goers of Austin, TX.  People will be asked to dance on a giant canvas after dipping their feet in paint.  The event attendees will be dancing to the music provided by special guest performers.

This unique event will embody the current “Be There” mantra of Smirnoff… because if you’re not there to experience this event, then you really missed out.

We do not know the full lineup yet, but we are very pleased to see DJ Peanut Butter Wolf on the lineup. Chris Manak, aka Peanut Butter Wolf, is a VJ, DJ, hip-hop producer and the founder of hip-hop label Stones Throw Records.  Big on the LA DJ Scene, Peanut Butter Wolf brings the party, mixing hip hop beats with video, not unlike one of Do512′s favorite VJ’s Mike Relm.  Check out a sample of his live show here:

Also on the bill is Austin’s own self-proclaimed foot-fetish funk band, Foot Patrol, who sings funk/hip hop covers focused on their love of feet.  This gig may be the ultimate match for this somewhat-creepy-but-hilarious fetish band…who are sure to be in hog heaven with all the paint-covered bare feet.  Additional DJ’s Prince Klassen and Bonus Junk have also been added to the lineup.

Other acts are still to be announced, we will spread the word as we get the deets.  But with Smirnoff  flowing and DJ’s bringing the dance party, this is sure to be the most interesting place to be this Saturday night.
