3 Great Nights of Music at Tiniest Bar in Texas
If you haven’t had the opportunity to experience the friendly, lowkey scene at The Tiniest Bar in Texas, then now is the time to finally treat yourself. This Thursday through Saturday, The Tiniest Bar in Texas will be playing host to a diverse three night musical showcase presented by Belmez Entertainment (on Thurs and Fri) that is sure to amp up the already congenital cool of the least gimmicky gimmick venue in Austin.
The fun begins TONIGHT at 8pm with the musical stylings of locals Tyler Guthrie, Devily, and Paul Mercurio’s Rock n’ Roll Sing Along, also dubbed ‘Mercurioake.’ Click “I like it”‘ at Do512 for a chance to win one of THREE pairs of tickets to this interactive evening!
Friday night will feature an eclectic and noteworthy mix of artists, beginning with Nano Whitman‘s folk rock at 8pm. Following is Belmez‘s shapeshifting, genre-bending sound that is definitively rock but with a curious and compelling twist. Closing the evening is eccentric murder balladeer Izzy Cox‘s self-coined ‘Voodoobilly Jazz,’ a sound and style that has caught the attention of many (including The Racontuer’s Jack White, whom she opened for on tour). Click “I like it” to score one of THREE pairs of tickets to the show!
The Tiniest Bar will be closing out this festival-of-sorts at 10pm on Saturday night with a gig most fitting to its quirky, fun-loving roots: DANCE PARTY! Join in on outdoor dancing with DJ Shorty Stump (of White Ghost Shivers and founder/dj of the Second Sunday Sock Hop) as he spins his usual hodgepodge of awesomeness, ranging from swinging 20’s jazz to 80’s hair bands to straight up rock n’ roll and beyond. As if it couldn’t get any better, this night is FREE and with $3 margaritas all night.
No excuses! Its happening at The Tiniest Bar in Texas this weekend.
