Special APOLLO 13 Screening with RON HOWARD!!

The Austin Film Festival is internationally admired for its commitment to genuine quality in an industry of success by way of politics. As a nonprofit organization, AFF strives to serve the community and film industry through recognizing, encouraging, and supporting both aspiring and established filmmakers and writers with various cultural events and services.

This time around, the Austin Film Festival & Conference will host more than 170 unique screenings and even more fun events all around town! There will also be over 80 panel and roundtable discussions geared towards the art and commerce of film, television, writing, and production. The Austin Film Festival & Conference will last from October 22-29.

One of the featured events of the week is the Special Retrospective Screening Event of Apollo 13, which is to be held on Saturday, October 24, at the Paramount! In addition to the special screening of the Oscar-winning film, this exciting event will include a Q&A with big shots such as Academy Award winning director Ron Howard, Apollo 13 screenwriters William Broyles, Jr. and Al Reinert, and a few Mission Control employees during the actual Apollo 13 voyage. There will definitely be some very fascinating discussion at the Paramount that evening!
